The New 5779 Year

The Jewish year cycle 5779 will be upon us this September 2018. With this there are a lot of youtube videos and voices claiming prophetic insights concerning the next year.
I suggest using the voice of caution when folks claim a prophetic word and base this word solely on Hebraic numeric/letter system alone.
I hear people say things like this: “that since there are two sevens in the year 5779, this means a double blessing and that 5 means grace – therefore this next year will be the year of grace for a double blessing when all promises come to pass for God’s people because the number nine means refers to gifts (like 9 gifts of the spirit) and the ninth Hebrew letter is Tet which looks like a circle, portal, or basket. Which to some add to this: God is pouring through a portal of grace double-blessings of new gifts etc and so forth.”
Well, hate to pop your bubble, that is not prophecy, but rather comes from and no different than what the ancient Chaldeans and modern Kabbalist do today to divine the future by using numerology. In other words, this is on par with reading horoscopes in the newspaper for fun, which, by the way God forbids.
A true prophetic word comes from God alone to a person. Yes, God can and does use symbols, colors, signs, and even numbers in prophetic words as evidenced from the bible. However, to force a interpretation by using the meaning of single digit number found in the Jewish year 5-7-7-9 to divine a prophetic word, is not prophecy, nor wise.
I study biblical numeric and know the Hebrew otoit (letters) and pictograph meanings. Studied these for years. There is a correct meaning derived from the context of the scriptures that they are found in and can be used wrongly as well too. Gematria is not a correct method in all things, nor is applying the numbers of a Jewish year to prophesize.
Let’s look and the year 2018 and use the same method. Two mean household, one means strong one, and eight means new day or new beginnings. Zero means hidden thought not expressed. So one can say 2018 will be for the household of God to become leaders to usher in a new day of new revelation or some strange line of reasoning like that.
2019 follows suite then: 2019 will be the year for the household of God to become leaders of hidden revelations to usher in new gifts for whatever you fancy (for breakthrough). Add in the letter tet meaning of a portal into this to derive breakthrough or access.
Wow, then, for the next 5780 watch out, if the Lord tarries then the Jewish year 5780 will be declared by prophecy: the year of grace, to perfect your new day/beginnings, to receive secret revelations to bring forth blessings. Really??
The bible is clear on the matter
As we approach the latter days, times will become perilous and there will be a great falling away from the faith in the church and world. Doctrines of demons will proliferate. The message to the seven churches will go forth because judgment always begin in the house of God first. People will be calling evil good and good evil. People will be divided and hate one another. Love of many will grow cold.
Folks, I am concerned. Woe when all say only good things all the time!
So, what do I think the new Jewish year 5779 will be like? Short answer is, I do not know, and have no clue at all.
If I use a numeric system alone, the number 5779 is the 758th Prime and 758 is simply 2x379. Not good number at all because 758 means complete ruin, brought into captivity, slavery, deception. 379 means defeat before one’s enemies, and 2 means household/division. 379 is the 75th prime and 75 refers to messengers/missionaries. You derive the meaning for the number 5779 by using what is called the Prime factor method to help get an idea of the meaning of number. If I apply this method then 5779 means the following:
“One’s household-divided, defeated before enemies, and brought into captivity-slavery by deception through messengers."
The number 5779 would have that as its root definition. Not good is it?
The year 5779 is yet to unfold and not using numbers correctly leads to errors and simple weirdness that sets up people to have more alleged promises broken and disillusionment within certain elements of Christendom take root.
Take Heed
I have no idea how the Jewish year will unfold. I am not a prophet. I cannot use numbers to make prophetic statements using numerical years, even if using the numbers the correct way, still would not be right. Now, there are cases where the year indeed matches a number meaning but this not the norm in all cases all the time. Take heed to that.
I do hope the year 5779 will be one of all blessings and no bad news but gut tells me, “it will not be so in all cases for everyone.”
The bible is clear standard for prophetic – times ahead will become dark. Perilous times, great deceptions, seas and waves roaring, as Jesus said. Beware when all folks start saying peace (meaning security) and safety on a worldwide scale.
What’s best for folks to do during the Jewish year 5779 – I will let Jesus himself answer:
"But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:34-36, NKJV
