Something Strange Came

There is a steady infiltration going on. We see it every day across the western world. Signs on Church marques and websites advertising Christian Yoga classes and relaxation techniques. Use of Angel cards to witness to the lost and Angel Boards to spell out what to do from angels. Barking and weirdness passed off as high marks of one’s uber spirituality.
Bible tells us to test all things and try the spirits in 1 John 4:1; yet, there is so little of this today that it causes one to feel great compassionate grief. Why – you see how lucid dreaming techniques are Christianized in order to ascended to contact your guiding angel or God himself or used to just waltz into heaven anytime one pleases despite one’s sinful state.
As I stated before, I know that all the spiritual gifts are still valid for today and sorely needed. That the Lord still speaks in dreams and visions. God still heals according to his sovereign will as the bible reveals. That the Holy Spirit guides us and can speak to us in many different ways. The Lord certainly can allow people to see heaven and hell in after death encounters or by vision or dreams.
I have been Walking with the Lord for 38+ years now and have encountered the fake and seen the real. My desire is show you how one can tell if such things are from God or not. Wouldn’t you like to know the truth?
Counterfeits
Bible is our guide book. In 2 Co 6:14-18 it indeed shouts loud and clear that the ways of God have absolutely nothing in common with the works of the Devil and his minions or the ways of the unsaved world. Nothing.
A counterfeit is not real. Satan’s minions use counterfeits to mock God’s character and good nature and causes folks to join in that mocking, so God is aroused to turn against the user cashing in on the counterfeits. After all, using a counterfeit transgresses the law of God against practicing the occult.
In John 14:30, Jesus declared that the ruler of this world’s system, the devil, had nothing – no claim on Jesus. Can you say that? If one uses angel cards and angel boards, how is that any different from tarot cards and ouija boards? None at all no matter how one tries to package it with an approved by Jesus label.
Something Strange Came
Back in the 2005-10 period something strange swept into the church. By 2015, Bill Johnson publicly rebuked and warned people about one 'Jason Westerfield.' Before that, Jason was extolled and the greatest thing to happen in one of the fastest growing segments in the modern church world. He was seen in documentaries, videos, and on Christian TV touted as a great man of God.
You can still find Mr. Westerfield after his rebuke on videos, and in his own words, make statements that he was never a Christian and brought the New Age Movement into the church. That was his main goal. This was an embarrassment to many who promoted him, and it was swiftly swept under the rug.
Before his exposure, others also practiced what he preached. One man claimed that he, like Jason, could enter into heaven anytime he wanted to attain deeper revelations while in the midst of having an adulterous affair betraying the wife of his youth. Does that even make logical sense in light of Habakkuk 1:13?
While watching these men practice, I felt grieved while many folks were saying they were great leaders of the church for ushering in a new mighty move of God.
First time I saw Jason, I said to myself, he has critters. When that other man became popular. I saw a demonic serpentine spirit working in his meetings as he imitated Jason’s approach. I couldn’t say anything cause if I did – shot down.
Then both men were rebuked. Jason left the Church while the other, I pray, wakes up and self corrects according to the grace of God mentioned in Titus 2:11-15. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God especially those who use counterfeits which were designed by the devil to incur God’s wrath against his own people.
That’s Old News Now
My question is this, why did not the practices brought in by Mr. Westerfield receive the same rebuke, warnings, and calls to stop such antics?
Why do these continue in some quarters of the church and in many cases – spreading across denominational lines: Christian Yoga – empty the brain type of prayers – it’s all about ‘you’ sermonettes that ignore the bible and make the church so weird that folks visiting run to the hills – why did not the teachers test and toss out all this stuff brought in as well?
Such an answer is not easy because the occult world does deliver enough goodies to hook a person because it works and gets results. So, by stealth, the practices of the New Age Movement and Occult has crept into the church due to results it gives.
So, a “it works and feels good, so it must be of God,” mentality is justified to continue to bring more elements of the New Age and occultism into the church. All justified by reasoning, that since there are counterfeits, then the counterfeits have some Godly truth behind them, so it is okay to correct the counterfeits and take back what once belonged to God.
I ask you, to sincerely to ponder that line of reasoning for a moment and mull over it for a bit. While doing so, I ask the Holy Spirit to awaken you to how naive such reasoning really is. It is no different than the devil saying to Eve in the Garden of Eden, “Has God really said…?”
In this case he whispers to the church– "Has God really said not to explore the counterfeit to find the real? These are good for food, it is pleasant to behold, feel, do, and these can make one wise!"
Sadly, the devil deceives in such manner that causes people unknowingly mock God’s character and good nature. In turn God is aroused to turn against the user cashing in on the counterfeits with a kind warning first and then dismissal later on if not careful. Whom do you desire to stand loyal too?
Here is one for you
Please read this quote with the blood of Jesus covering you from Anton LaVey of the church of Satan, who died in the late 1990’s:
“In the scores of books lining the shelves of New Age bookstores, there are instructions for guided meditation, creative visualizations, out of body experiences, getting in touch with your spirit guides, fortune telling by cards, crystal balls or the stars. What if Satanists reclaimed these for their own dark purposes and integrated them into rituals dedicated to the Devil, where they rightfully belong? New Agers have freely drawn upon all manner of Satanic material, adapting it to their own hypocritical purposes… But in truth, all ‘New Age’ labeling is, again, trying to play the Devil’s game without using His Infernal name.” — Anton LaVey, quoted in Church of Satan, B. Barton, p.107
So, the strongest proponent of satanism says that the New Age Practices are in reality, satanism in disguise. These are practices that Westerfield and others have brought into some segments of the church. These create division, tension, split families, and make some members of the Church develop a ‘better than thou’ mentality because they think themselves as 'on the cutting edge.'
With this cavort, we are witnessing Luciferin practices being mixed into segments of the church practiced under the guise of promoting tolerant non-judgmental love, harmony, to achieve a better you, and using laws of positivity for self-centered gain. This should send shudders down your spine.
So, what do about this?
Short answer: test the spirits, test all things. Well how do we do that?
Let me make it as simple as possible. Turn too 1 John 4:1-6 and let’s go verse by verse so you can learn how.
1Jn 4:1, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. "
We are called to test the spirits. Remember this, a true man or woman of God will commend people testing what he or she teaches as the Bereans did as Acts 17:10-11 reveals for searching the scriptures daily to find out whether what was being taught or revealed was true or not.
If you encounter a teacher or folks touting, ‘do not touch not the Lord’s anointed’ for questioning practices and teachings, take heed, something is wrong.
While it is true that King David said the same words about King Saul when he was being chased by Saul, I ask you to please take note that the true context of ‘touch not the Lord’s anointed’ refers to touching the persecutor and not the persecuted. Hmmm???
The bible is clear, test all things. It is okay to test those things taught to you with and by the word of God. There is no surer way to quench the Spirit of God than by not testing to see if a move of the Spirit, or doctrines taught, or even a vision is from God (1 Thess 5:15-23) or not.
Let’s continue
1Jn 4:2-3, "By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” NKJV
I use a form of this verse when I encounter something spiritual happening and you can too to test any angelic visitor, vision, Jesus, or even the demonic posing as a good thing by asking it this:
“Are you (of) the Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and destroyed all the works of the Devil – are you (of) the Lord God of Israel who came in the flesh and makes a public spectacle of all the works of the enemy?”
This is based on 1 John 4:3-4 and 1 John 3:8, “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He mightily destroys the works of the devil.” NKJV
So, if you have a dream, a vision, or encounter some supernatural entity – demand it to answer that question. You will be amazed how someone’s personal angel will disappear or screech when this happens. Or the vision ends. Or the Jesus in the room leaves. Or you are hit by dead silence accompanied by feelings of guilt, shame, or grieving for dare asking. If these things happen – it is not of God.
Trust me in this, the Lord himself and all his true loyal angels do not mind, nor will they ever take offense if you ask them this. If folks did this, much of the so called overabundant trips to heaven would cease and many angel guides would leave, and utter bizarreness in the church curtailed. Thus, the Holy Spirit is no longer being quenched and a true move of God happens.
You can ask this if you encounter any move in the church and add to the words – “Lord is this really of you or not – show me…” and He will indeed show you in many various ways and timing if it is or not.
Further way to discern
1Jn 4:4-6, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore, they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.” NKJV
You who are born again, have the Holy Spirit of God inside you and can overcome by the means discussed so far. Next, note if a spirit, angel, or new revelation justifies the ways of the world, compromise with the world and its culture in music, sermon, message, be sure it is not from God.
The Lord Jesus who came in the flesh and destroyed all the works of the devil does not condone using counterfeits to discover forgotten truths needed to take back the things of God. A little leaven does what?
Folks, such logical fallacy as that defies the sovereignty of God who owns all the heavens, the earth, the entire universe and all things in it. Let him give you the real deal by you forsaking chasing after how to take back the fake.
Next
1 John 4:6, “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” NKJV
If you hear that God is tired of old ways, that the cross is overstated, or both the cross and resurrection of Christ is just too offending, beats people down, or overused, so that all one needs are 'new revelations' to attain favor and get your gets from god who is your loving servant – oh you wonderful you, ya big lovable lug! Something is amiss,
Or even hear in some manner that the church needs to do things a new way as the old is outdated, etc., take heed to the word of God on this subject and align with God’s word quoted below and not some new sugar-coated revelation.
Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Thus says the LORD: "Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls...” ESV
Don’t reason and say as the last sentence of that verse says: “...We will not walk in it…”
Don’t go that direction. There is a whole lot of quenching the Spirit of God going on and each person needs to self-correct on his or her own concerning where we each err and thus get back on the ancient path where the good way is. This leads us to the last point:
What are the ancient paths where the good way is - Let me make it simple
2 Th 2:13, “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth…” NKJV
Eze 18:30-32, "Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways," says the Lord GOD. "Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD. "Therefore, turn and live!" NLKV
Luke 24:47, “…that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” NKJV
Acts 17:30, “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent…”
Acts 26:18 “…to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'”
That is the ancient way – run to Jesus – be forgiven and cleansed – turn to him. Get your broken heart healed.
Psalms 107 speaks of how the lovingkindness of God lets people blow it, then brings them low, so they return to God transformed out of fears and darkness and restored into his marvelous light
Are you tired of living in darkness?
John 1:9 – run to Jesus the Ancient of days – the ancient path and way back to God – the lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world. Admit your failures and sins to him. Seek him by means of prayers where you pour out your heart to him as a close friend. He loves you that much.
Also Know this about the ancient paths
From the ash heap God reveals our ancient inheritance lost by the fall
1 Pet 2:9 says – we are a royal priesthood and holy nation set apart for God. This means we are part of the heavenly Council - We can run boldly to the throne of grace to find help in time of need - Heb 4:16
Talk to God as a friend and discuss things with him and seek him and his ways
Matt 5:13-16 - Be salt and help retrain the moral rot of sin and stop the demonic kingdom form winning. Learn to shine Jesus’ light to a lost and dark world
Don’t let your lamp run dry nor keep it hidden sand thus don’t be like this…
Eze_33:31, “So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.” NKJV
The Gospel is not about what you can gain but about trusting Jesus in all things, all circumstances, and if gain comes – how to use it wisely ….
John_15:19, “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” NKJV
The ancient path has nothing in common with the world – and learns how to love the world less and less and God and each other more and more and also to expect persecution…
That God’s grace is not cheap because it free – by it costs us our iniquities, lust, ungodliness – looks for Jesus’s return – so we do his good on earth as it is written
Titus 2:11-15, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.” NKJV
The ancient path involves
God’s will for us which is our sanctification – the removing the darkness in us - out of us - by healing our broken hearts, setting the captive free from repeating issues of destruction, and setting the prisoners free from bondages as it is written in Isaiah 61:1-4.
Isa 61:1-4, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified." 4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.” NKJV
That is our duty and his good works he works through us to do. He changes not no matter how boring you think the message of the cross is or failing.
And yes - God uses dreams, visions, healings, prayer, the blood, resurrection power, his word/bible - he changes not - to lead, guide, teach us, as well as heal our hearts and souls. He is the same yesterday and forever
Let’s pray…not to forsake the ancient path – Jesus – the door and only way to heaven! Lord of all who desires to give good things to his people.
Why should we care?

Why should we care?
Some may ask why in the world am I so concerned about the New Age and the occult in the church. Who are you Mister, to tell anyone they are off base in the church?
First off, the bible warns us that in the last days that doctrines of demons will proliferate within the established Churches. Revelation chapter 2 addresses this to Pergamum. Those that choose not to repent, Jesus will fight against them with the sword of his mouth mentioned in Revelation 19:15. I think that is serious, don’t you?
Since there are doctrines of demons, then where are? It appears that the criteria for judging if spiritual experiences are from God is based solely on any type of phenomena that produces results. Where is the Holy Spirit gift of discernment? Where is the teaching on testing all things? Just because something gets results does not mean it is of God!
I understand how leaders of current movements within the church have an utter monopoly voice in the house of God. That must mean then that I must be considered dung compared to them. But what if some of these elites are being misled to invite new age doctrines of demons and Kundalini into the churches? Doctrine of demons do that.
You know, God raises up folks amongst people who are straying in order to give a polite and loving warning, so folks can assess what they teach, and do, is right by promoting to them privet self-correction by God’s grace. But again, who am I to dare and by what right can I call out error?
What right do I have to judge?
Folks, I actually died, and seen hell. In that experience has made me intense. I cannot help it. I understand how the demonic works, deceives, their game plans – that as Dereck Gilbert on Sky Watch TV often says – “these want to kill you, meaning take as many people into the lake of Fire as possible – the second death.”
That is absolutely true. Jesus warns of is of this. By God’s grace alone, allowed me to come back from the dead after seeing hell. I understand that is debatable to some. Yet, is not Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever?
He raised people from the dead yesterday. He does so today according to his will and purposes, not ours, and will do so again in the future resurrection of the dead. He changes not. It is true, after one dies comes judgment. I can testify to that fact as absolutely true.
I am intense because I seen and know from my own personal experiences how gullible we human beings are and how easy it is to be deceived within the church. My after-death encounter opened my eyes to this. In my book in the chapter entitled ‘Poles’ I mentioned seeing Principalities in the heavenlies sitting on what looked like to me, poles, over the earth.
From that, I am big on spiritual warfare. I spent years practicing this from day one. I have learned a lot, made mistakes, repented, and move on to keep following Jesus in a state of humility. I wish to share what I learned along the way, so you can fight better avoiding the snares and traps and schemes and tactics of the evil one and overcome these.
Unlike many ministers, I am not stuck on myself. With that, when I see certain segments of the body of Christ on earth (the Church) running headlong into the doctrines of demons being deceived thinking these are from God, it hurts me with great compassion as it does to Jesus himself see folks deceived and doing things that will cause hurt later on.
When I see someone in leadership call out warning about someone who fell away and infiltrated a church movement, willingly to bringing in New Age doctrines disguised as Christian and then not address what was brought in – well makes me weep when they continue those same practices.
With that, that is why I wrote about the new age movement within the church. It is spreading like wildfire. People are being set up in a manner that God will be forced to reject them. The Bible is clear, when you see the righteous running into sin and not warn them, then God will hold the one who does not warn, guilty as well. In this, I have warned. The rest is up to you.
The Lord Gives
The Lord is good. He is full of mercy and grace and patient. He understands. He still gives his gifts to his people. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today. God still gives dreams, visions, guides, instructs, speaks in many different ways – these have not ceased.
The devil does indeed send counterfeits, but a counterfeit is still not real. These do not always mimic the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they instead mock them, and cause people to use them in a mocking way. Examining counterfeits to prove ‘the real’ is not wise. In fact, it is stupid.
The devil and his minions are fallen angels and spirits of the Nephilim. They indeed have the tongues of angels and so speak. Therefore, they do not counterfeit the gift of tongues as they are angels who have fallen thus have their own tongues of angels. It is a devilish speech. Once heard, you know it.
In no way does this force us to stop us from speaking in unknown tongues as the bible amply teaches. Don’t be afraid of it. Ask for that gift and see if God so grants it to you. Do not force this gift on others. Do not abuse it. Its purpose is to build you up closer to God and help pray correctly in intercession, not to divide the church.
God still is on Throne
God gives gifts to human beings. He has grace to teach you how not to use these as play things and for market selling one’s personal self-glorification as a big shot in the body of Christ. You will crash if you do. For your own good. The greatest revelation to deflate a proud ego is to realize that God does need you. When one realizes that as truth, then God can rebuild and use you.
With this, God indeed still gives visions and encounters with angels as well as how to test to see if these are from him or not. He gave us the Holy Spirit. People do have vision of heaven, if God so allows, but we are called to test such things, nevertheless.
People, who I know personally who have ‘actually’ seen heaven come back with a profound respect for God. They will never treat such experience tritely with flippancy. We know, first hand that most of heaven experience is very personal.
We understand that most of it is not lawful to utter because it involves a revelation of God’s character that if any human words try to express would cause people to violate Exodus 20:4-8 by making an image of God in one’s mind to exploit wrongly.
That why I get upset at the over-abundance of so-called trips to heaven by people who show no respect for God. Most of these trips, come by New Age Lucid Dreaming exercises where one is introduced to spirit guides of some sort. Again, that is I why I wrote on this topic - to test these things!
Let me help you
God calls a person into such an experience, not you. The Lord invites you. You don’t just waltz on in whenever you want too. Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zachariah, the Apostle John and Paul were invited into heaven. God changes not. These men of God who wrote the part of the bible did not come back and market how you can do so because they are God’s favorite big shots. Think about it…
I know folks who have seen heaven. They will tell you the same thing. By invite in various ways. They treat such experience with utter respect. We who have all report being undone by the experience that is most personal and changed by it.
We who have do not boast about it either. It is holy. Others, I am not so sure about as they show no respect for the holy ways of God and do not test the experience or what they encounter while others do.
May you be granted discernment
One last thing on the over-abundance of heaven trips – these often ‘can’ lead to creating envy within the church (note this - God hates envy). People who have seen heaven, only share so much, only, as permitted by God. We do not want to create envy or elitism within the church.
Others, well, they are a dime a dozen. They make themselves uber specimens of being God’s favorites and elites. It is all about them and less and less about God. All the focus is on them, their latest revelation from heaven, which often justifies contradicting the bible. Decide for yourself.
An after-death experience changes you
You do not view the world as others. You become intense. Some call you arrogant when you are not. Often your mind is so into the things of Lord Jesus, that other things are viewed as have a temporary place in life. You are held to a stricter judgement. The spiritual enemy attacks you. Others in the church world ignore you and overlook you and some attack you. You are humble as those that know you, witness this.
You are not high on yourself nor desire to be the next great big shot in the church. Your concern is others and not yourself. You simply just press on going to the places God assigns you to influence those around you. Howsoever he wills.
During this mortal life, you find that some folks are very willing to change and be healed. Others are not ready, and still others who do not want to give up their life wounds because these are the means by which they get attention and find purpose for their lives. The latter you sadly leave behind like Jesus did toward the rich young ruler.
Why do I say all this?
Simple – my desire is not to brow beat people but rather expose them to truth so that one can check themselves on what ‘is being’ taught them if these be from God or not. To Self-correct on their own in privet and turn away from the devil’s deceptions as the Lord leads them too. I want to see as many in heaven as possible That is why I warn and instruct on this subject.

Something Strange Happening Here?

Lucid Dreaming: Therapeutic Model, started out boring, that is, until near the end of semester when class was required to practice the skills taught. Lucid dream therapy consists of interpreting dreams with the client playing every part of a dream to reach an epiphany. Other therapies also involved various Hindu breathing techniques and use of Hindu Nadi lines for client and group therapy.
Basically, according to class, Nadi lines were associated with three parallel lines of the body that follow the lower spine to the top of the head. One of the exercises involved a modified technique of a Nadia lines for use in group therapy settings.
The purpose of exercise was to teach group therapeutic skills by creating client disassociation to turn away from bad thinking, behaviors, developing a new sense of healthy self-esteem.
As in any upper level college class, you are taught a therapeutic exercise’s history, its purpose, what it was based on, and how to use it in class by experimenting on classmates. Being a Christian in modern Social Work college class was difficult. I never used any of this in the field of criminal justice that I graduated for and later worked in for years.
Let me describe what this technique looked like,
its purpose, and what happened:
First – we formed three lines of students consisting of a right (Pingala) and left (Nida) line along with a third (Spine) line. Each line was based on Hindu Nadi lines with supposedly the religious aspect taken out of it. The right and left lines first began as stationary, while the middle line moved toward seven ‘awakening’ focal points called Charka Vortices (Vortexes).
To activate these energy vortexes the folks on the
outside lines would call forth positive thoughts and blessings – nothing
negative was allowed. As the middle line ascended toward the top of head, the students
on the outside lines would touch those who passed by on their shoulders or backs
and say nice things to each person as each passed seven vortices points along
the spine line.
This was described to us at the time as a birthing process which started from the bottom up to help people ascend to reach the enlighten 7th charka vortex as one exits. This process was repeated over and over again with the exiting line taking over positions on both outside lines. These folks would then work their way back down to rejoin the middle line again and again.
The therapeutic goal was to create a sense of harmony, calmness, and develop sense of belonging where ‘we are together, let’s change the world – shed our issues and be happy.’ Like club initiation of sorts to feel part of group, community, family as a team building technique for a therapy group to open up and bond with each other.
I was uncomfortable with this and was allowed to stop and observe the goings on. I noticed after a few rounds of this how those exiting become progressively more-giddy and talkative. After it ended, those who completed the exercise were euphoric and sold out to implement this new technique.
This is how it worked
The seven vortexes were focal points use to harvested energy created by the vocalizations coming from the right and left lines. This was done to impart into a person a new conscience to be ‘free’ and ‘one with all’ – ‘no restraints of religion, society, family, the world, or the flesh can hurt you – Born free - weeeee!!!’
This was done to awaken-positive change in a person’s life by developing in them a paradigm shift in thought to birth a new enlighten sense of altruistic self. During the exercise soft music played in the background. The right and left Nadi line groups spoke toward one of the seven Chaka points positive mantras, affirmations, and blessings, and even singing if one wanted too. This was done to create each of the seven chakra vortex energy points.
Here is a brief description what they are, what they represent, and do:
**One- 1st chak-ra, is mul-ad-hara, it is connected with mortal existence one’s personal identity. It is the entry point of lower spine. The Right and Left line forms and begins speaking forth positive chants. The purpose of this is to awaken “pranic energy” which according to this Hindu ritual is dormant and is in need of being jolted awake by winding its way upward to enter the 7th chakra stage. (Loosen you up baby!)
Prana/ic energy or Ki - comes from the sun – it is vital life energy of all things from stones to all living matter – the star war force for your understanding. (Aside note: One of the Pillars in Masonry is the Sun/Mercy Pillar and the Next is the Moon-Severity pillar where one travels between reach the enlightened wisdom pillar).
**The second chakra, swad-hist-hana, is related to the sexual organs -- the desire for pleasure. The seat of all desires, and the storehouse of bad unconscious vibes that needs to be cleaned out and combined with calmness and fearlessness dedication to go into deeper spiritual states to change their prana or ki (I can’t help but think of En-Ki the Goat demon with his two serpents on a pole symbol as fitting the prana and nadia lines)
**The 3rd chakra, Manipura, represents the power center concerned with maintaining one’s survival and accumulation of things that needs shedding. Weird manifestation begins in this part of the line…
The idea here, is to become wholly devoted to this form of Hindu faith in order to receive some sort anointing of psychic abilities so one can imagine new possibilities for their lives. The goal here was to justify the rejection of truthful commonsense discernment as being outdated, biased, and founded on prejudices, so one can come into alignment with a new frame of mind which born within these 7 chakra points or awakenings. In class, the religion element was supposed taken out of it but in word only.
**The 4th chakra, Ana-hata, is called the heart chakra that opens one to channel creativity, love of life, appreciation of nature and to help people to develop compassion and empathy. It opens one up to their need to develop a committed bond to a guru or leadership elite to guide you into greater and greater levels of spirituality. In this case, to bond with group and you the therapy leader.
Here psychic manifestation such as visions or hearing buzzing, humming sounds or even hearing the music of a flute or harp maybe heard. I discovered later this was meant to give an initiate temporary prophetic or healing abilities involving some sort of shedding their old problematic issues. Which requires one to rely on the group or a guru to maintain this shedding. Also, the meaning of love was switched into a New Age definition of Love of oneness, tolerance, etc to counter anyone who opposes this as an unloving religionist, a legalist, and unenlightened.
**The 5th chakra, Vis-h-udd-hi, vortex represents throat, ears and hearing to filter out what is negative to transforms one by mixing light and darkness so that one’s mind comes into harmony with inner force of peace, compassion and a rely on wise perspectives taught by teachers/gurus – or spirit guides – to gain new insights and greater heights.
**6th stage AJNA stage is called the 3rd Eye stage. Ajna means to know how to follow one’s inner command ‘third eye’ center to purify the mind to prepare one to awaken their entire prana energy system into some sort of big oneness. This was done to remove the last hindrances so one can receive greater visions of bliss or gain some sort of psychic revelations to feel merged with the universe, or one with a group of people. The group, the team mindset kicks in consisting in, “we are the best – one with each other - go team go, mindset.”
**7th stage - As a person goes through the 7th stage vortex which is called A THOUSAND PETALS IN SAH-ASR-ARA or the thousand-petal lotus, (Liken to the black sun symbol) at the top of and above the head. Here, the middle spine line exits and is open, as I found out later, to a Kundalini awaking - the serpent awaking – to guide your thoughts anointed to imagine unlimited possibilities and the full realization of truth that conveys you are the greatest thing to walk the earth ‘cause it is all groovy love baby.’
Here, a participant is conditioned to accept channeling with some sort of spiritual energy, or beings, to receive new knowledge to become one with universe, or be one’s own god, or in the secular setting in college – to connect with others and the universe. Everybody go Ummmm…
The whole process I observed was one designed to impart
a worldview that anything that is not like this is mundane, outdated, and the
cause of all social ills. This was done to camouflage a new self-inflated-pseudo-humbly-proud-ego
birthed into those who were awakened after exiting this line and developed a
need to be continually seeking more such encounters to earn a crown to be able
to impart this euphoria with its greater dimensional
experiences to others.
After the center spine line exits, one takes his or
her place in either the Left or Right line and slowly moves back down to the
center line– again and again till all are happy.
The Cycle
As the participants repeated this montage over and over again, a subdued chaotic scene was developing. Folks were become more and more giddy like a person does after a few shots of hard liquor. Some folks were beginning to develop as deep belly laugh while others developed jerking reflexes.
At this point, the exercise stopped, and the Professors and TA’s asked the partakers to describe what they felt. Some reported feeling like were hot while others said they felt like their bodies were vibrating. A few said they heard internal music like a flute or harp as they traversed the line.
What struck me was how the atmosphere of the room changed and the class opened intimately up to each other. They all said they felt really good – a euphoric state. After which the professor mentioned something about how to use this to loosen up a therapy group to bond together. It was as though my classmates ‘got hooked’ on this feeling of euphoria of the here and now to impart this far and wide.
Here were a bunch of indifferent students who suddenly became awakened to a doctrine whose whole emphasis was of – FREEDOM !! Freedom from all restraints!! Do as thou wilt! Say we can’t do this - well that is not loving because love - itself and would never stop this great goodness!! This Fun!!
The justification of this form of therapy was to break down one’s resistance to the old outdated, unfun, unjust and or traumatic behaviors to accept this new euphoric mentally to reach a better utopia.
Years later, I see a rise of eastern thought and practices gaining ground in elementary schools, work places, media, etc through Yoga and even this blessing line model. This ‘is’ by design. Most of my former classmates are supervisors now in various levels of education and social science fields. Yoga is big business in the USA and gaining worldwide recognition.
What surprised me all the years later is seeing it in action in all places, churches
I was invited to a new upcoming local church of around 400 people. I was stunned. They were doing the same Hindu tunnel exercise. The effects were however more intense than were seen in the class but contain all the same elements. For example, there was a heightened degree of utter chaotic euphoria, along with people violently shaking, while others were abnormally laughing.
Some people were smoking what appeared to be an imagery joint called toking on Jesus. Others made animal noises and became so “slap happy stupid” that any visitor would run to the hills and want nothing to do with Jesus if this really ‘is’ Christianity. I refused to participate and repented of being near this, knowing where it came from, its history, and use.
Sometimes, I must deal with demonized people who show the same behaviors when challenged to leave, as a distraction, they manifest in similar fashion to cause you to give up setting the oppressed free.
Why would people legitimize such demonic manifestation as blessing as approved by God?
They of course cite Acts 2:15 however this event describes people who were hearing babbling but hearing in their own mother language. The result was that many were saved, not chased out the of church. They were not practicing fire or blessing tunnels in the early church.
The ‘fire’ or ‘blessing’ tunnel has been legitimized in some segments of the modern church -- all prettied up as acceptable despite absolutely no evidence in the bible where God approves this practice. The only place where the bible gives hints of a fire tunnel is when the children of Israel joined in with the pagan practice of passing their children through the fire to Moloch.

In this ritual, people passed between two lines of fire (or people bearing fire) to offer their children to the fire. Supposedly, the spirits doped the child up to be all happy and to gin up the participants into a euphoric chaotic state to kill their young. Why, in exchange for power, attaining of wealth, control, and deeper channeling revelations from the gods to maintain this new-found power.
God hates such practices
In fact, God in strongest terms condemns the passing children through fire to Moloch. Yet, in some churches this is symbolically enacted and actually producing an awakening of the serpent power coiled within the spine to spring forth to become your guide in life as an angel of light.
The same blind acceptance of this practice I saw in a classroom room exercise, was, here before me in this church and within few others I have come across since. These tunnels are used to impart gifts and new anointings, they very same way the Hindu Nadi and Charka’s mentioned earlier do.
“The people are happy, it was fun and silly. People opened up to each other – what is wrong with that – so it must be of God.” is what I have been told. I hear from some, “Fire tunnels are great! It can’t be wrong because it helps one enter into deeper spiritual level and contact your personal angel to be your guide into the deeper things of God to have a better life”
Now, I do know angels are used by God, but does not the bible tell us the Holy Spirit is the one who teaches Christians all things we need to know and confirmed by the bible and to test all things?
Along with this, I have been personally told that any rebuke of this sort of thing is old fashioned, of the old school because GOD is doing a new thing a new way on earth. The old ways are mean spirited, but God’s ways are all about love and acceptance. Even love is redefined.
Wow, I heard students in my old social work class use the same line of reasoning after walking through the fire. Holy, Great shades of spiritual addiction, Batman!
I have seen such churches that practice this slowly disregard the bible in exchange for deeper revelations not even mentioned in the bible, and in some cases, openly occultic in nature. Others read into bible verses what is not there. The sermons are all, “Me, all about Me, you can be just like Me – all is well and blue sky” messages. God warns against this sort of thing.
One sure sign of the apostasy is the practice and blending of paganism into the church
I find it difficult to speak with adherents of this, no matter how loving and non-threatening and tactful I can be. They remind me of my Professors, TA’s, and many former classmates in college who took up a mantra to, “Bring down the system, to rebuild into the new, shape it according what is best to appear altruistic!” My how this same mindset is slowly infecting the modern church world.
Have you seen it? Ever been a part of such a fire tunnel? Afterward did you feel felt depressed, and miserable? Did you find yourself being controlled by the gurus or the elites of this movement for newer and higher revelations? Felt addicted to seeking newer and greater meetings?
I will say for certain that what I saw in my old upper division Social Work class is now what is seen in some churches called “fire tunnels.” The mode of thinking that it produces is eerily similar to that social work class exercise to be just mere �����coincidental’.
The Euphoria is real. It is the spirit of Kundalini
that flows through such tunnels. Kundalini also known as En-Ki, along with his
helper. They all use the very same symbol of two snakes entwined around one
pole. In the Hindu version, the Nadi lines represent the central pole along
with its two snakes entwined around it to awaken – impart - the serpent power (Nadi
lines) to guide one. This awakening – IS NOT OF GOD!
